چکیده

Tulipa gesneriana has rich cultivars with abundant flower colors; among them, black tulips have become precious for their rareness in nature. It is of great significance to understand its color formation mechanism breeding new a blackish the future. In this present study, petals at five developmental stages ‘Queen Night’ (shorted ‘QN’), typical tulip cultivar, were collected identity flavonoid composition and compare accumulation along development process, aiming explore metabolic coloration. By using UPLC-Q-TOF-MS, three anthocyanins nineteen anthoxanthins (including eighteen flavonols one flavone) detected ‘QN’. The identified as delphinidin 3-o-rutinoside, cyanidin 3-o-rutinoside pelargonidin respectively. main quercetin, kaempferol, isorhamnetin, naringin glycosides. only flavone substance was an apigenin derivative. comparing content, most ‘QN’, showed obvious regularity process. With opening, anthocyanin content accumulated continuously, reached highest level 3575.9 ?g·g?1·FW S5, accounting 80% total flavonoids. Among made contribution coloration increased first then decreased, reaching 1114.8 S3. Quercetin glycosides important flavonol substances more than 60% stages. extremely low, suggesting limited role Taken together, presentation ‘QN’ closely related flavonols; that determine petal high played co-pigmentation these anthocyanins.

Combined Effect of Humic Acid and NPK on Growth and Flower Development of Tulipa gesneriana in Faisalabad, Pakistan

A research trial was conducted during 2011-2012 to elucidate the effects of humic acid (HA) and NPK to determine the optimum rate against different growth and floral attributes on tulip cultivar viz. ‘Triumph’. The following five treatments T0 : (control), T1: 10 g/m2 NPK (17:17:17), T2 : HA 0.75 ml (8%) + 10 g/m2 NPK (17:17:17), T3: HA 1.00 ml (8%) + 10 g/m2 NPK (17:17:17) and T4: HA 1.25 ml (...
